A statewide burn ban went into effect at 5 p.m. Monday, August 7, according to the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office.
As of July 1, 2023 the flate rate for water services will increase by $5.00 (five dollars), it will be going from $22.00 (twenty-two dollars) per month to $27.00 (twenty-seven dollars) per month.
For your convenience, you can now make payments on your utility bill or citation at the Fordoche Town Hall using your debit or credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. There is a small convenience fee of $2.99 when paying with a card.

Water bill payments are due on the 20th of the month. Mail delivery service is unpredictable and often runs late. Therefore, regardless of when you receive your monthly bill, payment is still due on the 20th of the month. Payments made after the 20th will generate a late fee.
