ATTENTION RESIDENTS OF POINTE COUPEE PARISH
The Pointe Coupee Parish Police Jury is providing m onthly collection of w hite goods and bulky waste at roadside for residents of Pointe Coupee Parish, excluding the City of New Roads. Please review the following collection schedule for 2012.
For all residents who live in the Village of M organza and N orth of the M organza Spillway the collection dates are as follows: January 2, February 6, M arch 5, April 2, M ay 7, June 4, July 2, August 6, September 3, O ctober 8, N ovember 5 and D ecember 3.
For all residents who live south of the M organza Spillway the collection dates are as follows: January 3, February 7, M arch 6, April 3, M ay 8, June 5, July 3, August 7, September 4, October 9, November 6 and December 4.
W hite goods and bulky waste will be collected on the same days. However, white goods will also be collected when identified by visual inspection, or by calling the Pointe Coupee Parish Public Utilities Departm ent at (225) 638-8507 or by calling Lionel Boudreaux Trucking at (225) 638-3419 or (225) 324-7654 and providing the collection address. Bulky waste will only be collected on M ondays, in the northern part of the parish and on Tuesdays in the southern part of the parish on the first full week of each m onth. All items must be placed at roadside for collection.
White goods are considered to be the following: washers, dryers, stoves, ovens, refrigerators, air conditioners, hot water heaters, and other small appliances. Bulky
waste is considered to be the following: tree limbs and branches, no longer than eight (8) feet in length and no larger than 24 inches in diameter, furniture such as sofas, chairs and mattresses. Collection of construction debris, wire or metal will not be provided or accepted.
